Ate Marivic’s naturally processed arabica beans won back to back distinctions at the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition (PCQC) in 2018 and 2019.

She recently bagged first place at the PCQC held in Manila and will be heading to the Coffee Expo in Boston in April 2019 to represent the best coffees of the Philippines.

Being awarded second place at the same competition last year inspired her to continue her pursuit of coffee quality. We are so proud to offer her coffee beans to Vancouver and beyond!

Marivic Dubria is a wife, mother, and a community leader in the Balutakay Coffee Farmers (BACOFA) Co-operative. Her enthusiasm about coffee is contagious, encouraging most women in her neighbourhood to start working in coffee as well.

Planted in rich volcanic soil, carefully picked, meticulously sorted, sun-dried on raised beds just at the foot of Mount Apo (the Philippines' highest peak), Ate Marivic’s coffee packs a lot of sweetness and fruity, mellow acidity that will definitely brighten your mornings.
